Who Am I?
Hey everyone! Heather Duke here and I’m delighted that you made it to my blog! I’m 31 years old and I created I See Life in HD as a means of exploring who I am and who I want to become. I was born in Queens New York, but when I was three months old, my family moved to the US Virgin Islands where I spent my childhood. We moved again to Memphis Tennessee when I was eight, which is where I currently reside. Throw in the fact that my mother is from Panama and my father is from Trinidad & Tobago, and you can tell that I’ve got a pretty diverse background.
There are a few things that excite my soul, namely video games and technology, nerdy space facts, traveling near and far, and freedom. How do these all relate to one another? Perhaps not at all. Perhaps intimately so. It depends on the day.
In 2017, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and I hold that as one of my most valuable accomplishments, even if I am not using my degree in the most exciting way. I’m slowly building the life that I want, and I am so thrilled to take you on this wild journey with me!
